About the sample
This is a native sample of copper. It comes from the Macedonian copper mine Bučim. Тhe Bučim mine is located in the south-eastern part of Macedonia, 15 km from the nearest town Radoviš. The company exploiting the mine processes over 4.5 million tons of ore annually, producing about 40,000 tons of copper concentrate. This sample has been donated by our colleagues Gligor Jovanovski and Petre Makreski.
